After seeing 4 different Attorneys, we decided to stay with [JLWILG] because it gave us more confidence and because it had better monthly payment options. Thanks to your entire Paralegal team for their great work, everyone who attended us was very kind and always answered our calls, doubts and questions. There was not a single time that we called with a concern or question and went unanswered. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lawyer Jennifer Walker and her entire team for anyone who is looking for a Lawyer to do their Consular Processing, they really know what it takes to reach the final goal which is the Interview in Cd Juárez and therefore the Coveted Green Card.

Visas

Visas for Victims of Crime, Human Trafficking, and Domestic Violence

The laws governing immigration for victims of crime, human trafficking, and domestic violence — IF those victims are helpful to police, prosecutors, and other law enforcement agencies – provide an important pathway to permanent lawful residency for many thousands of immigrants in the USA. Unlike the family-based immigration system, individuals who meet the requirements for these humanitarian visas are able to get permanent lawful status and even, eventually, U.S. citizenship - even when they have permanent bars, prior deportations, and false claims to U.S. citizenship.

JLWILG has also had tremendous success using lawsuits in the federal courts to expedite issuance of temporary work permits and deferred action notices for clients who have filed for U visas and waited a reasonable time for them to be approved. Federal litigation, when successful, allows clients to have the security and stability of lawful presence in the USA as they begin to heal from the crimes of which they were victims, and while they await the approval of their U visas.

If you have been the victim of crime in the United States and have reported that crime to police and cooperated fully with their investigation, or if you are a family-member of a physically or emotionally abusive U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, let JLWILG help you transform that traumatic experience into something that supports you, your family, and your dreams for your future.

Lawyer Jenifer is a very prepared woman, honest and knows how to fight for the well-being of people who are illegally in this country. She, along with her secretary Ivón, have helped me in a not very complex VAWA case, both of them have worked very hard on the case.

I am a very short time away from leaving limbo, 28 years without leaving this country. I RECOMMEND them 100 percent.

naturalization

Naturalization And Citizenship

Many immigrants from around the world aspire to U.S. citizenship. Whether it be so you can vote or even run for elected office, or simply to formalize your loyalty to the United States, compliance with the requirements for naturalization is a must. Even if you have past immigration or criminal issues, or if you are unable to learn English due to a mental or physical disability, or if your case is unreasonably delayed due to USCIS negligence, JLW Immigration Law Group can assist in analyzing your eligibility to apply for citizenship, step you through the citizenship process, and help prepare you for the test and interview so as to give your application the best possible chance of success.

"

Im speechless oh how amazing Jennifer is!! She helped me get my citizenship in few months after I have already been applied for it before but due to covid and few other applications mistakes I have not heard anything from USCIS. Jennifer in the other hand was amazing! All what I did was submit a copy of my N-400 and she took care of the rest. Im so happy to share my experience with her. Not only she’s professional, she’s also very nice, hardworking woman. BTW she’s the family lawyer, and she helped them all with different cases. All of them were successfully done. So thank you so much Jennifer for your hard work!!

For immediate assistance with a case involving arrest or deportation, call our main number at (512) 633-1785. If you or a loved one has been arrested by ICE, you should contact a trusted attorney to assist you as early in the process as possible. We have extensive experience obtaining release for immigrants detained by ICE.

Asylum & Credible Fear

Asylum is a protective immigration status awarded to individuals who have shown that they will suffer or have suffered persecution in their home country due to their race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or because they belong to a particular social group. We at JLWILG are proud and honored to assist clients in seeking and finding safety in the United States, and in reuniting family members, after displacement due to persecution. We welcome and honor asylum seekers and refugees, and we appreciate and admire the strength, courage, and determination required to even seek asylum in the United States.
