Jennifer focuses on family-based immigration, visas for survivors of crime and domestic violence, and complex immigration matters, including federal appeals, waivers of inadmissibility, and naturalization. She has been Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2014.
Jennifer frequently speaks at national and state conferences and is an active leader in immigrant advocacy. She proudly serves on the Board of Directors for American Gateways and volunteers with the Texas Lawyers Assistance Program (TLAP). In recognition of her leadership on behalf of immigrants in the community, the City of Austin designated February 22, 2017, as “Jennifer Walker Gates Day.”
