If you are not a current client and would like us to discuss whether or not we can represent you, please schedule a consultation with one of our attorneys. Go to the scheduling page, select an attorney and follow the prompts to reserve an appointment. You will receive a confirmation via e-mail. Consultations are conducted virtually by phone or Zoom video call.

Clients are welcome to contact us through text, phone or email. While we make notes of each communication we have with clients, email and text have the added benefit of recording the communication in writing. In addition, attorneys’ travel schedules often make text or email an effective means of communicating. Remember, your contract includes the name and contact information of your attorney and your case manager.

PLEASE NOTE: Email may not be a secure means of communicating sensitive information such as banking, payment, or social security numbers. Please do not send sensitive information via email.

You may contact your Case Manager for information about your case. You may also check your case status online.

Your documents are extremely important for your case. They are often the only means of presenting your legal case to USCIS, NVC, or the Department of State. WGV requires delivery of ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS BEFORE WE BEGIN REPARING YOUR CASE.

Please note that email may not be a secure means of transmitting sensitive information DO NOT send any banking information or social security numbers via email. Talk to your Case Manager or Attorney to coordinate the best, safest, most convenient way to submit your documents.

Cooperation means assisting your attorney by providing the evidence and documentation they require to build a case for you. Refusing or failing to provide required documentation may leave your attorney unable to help you, as very often, you are the sole means by which the attorney can access required evidence. Courtesy means treating the attorney and the JLWILG team with respect. Remember, we are on your side and we share a very powerful common adversary in your case – the U.S. federal government. If we do not work cooperatively, we cannot be successful in your case.

We understand that waiting for the resolution of your case can be stressful and frustrating, but rest assured that our team at JLW Immigration Law Group is dedicated to moving your case forward as swiftly as possible. Each case is unique and may require different amounts of time for completion, but we are committed to ensuring that we do everything in our power to avoid unnecessary delays. Providing all required documents promptly can help expedite the processing of your case. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your attorney or Case Manager if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to support you every step of the way.
